Kavouri, (meaning «crab» in Greek), is situated 22km. away from the center of Athens. The coastal area of Kavouri is one of the few places, (so close to Athens), retaining still its natural beauties. The settlement combines perfectly both mountain and sea, having a beautiful green forest, as well as an organized beach ideal for swimming. Also, the Hellenic Air Force Academy is located here. In Kavouri the visitor can find all kinds of facilities, including hotels, restaurants, cafeterias and commercial shops.
